Golf Cart Rules
Follow posted rules, park away from the green, grab extra clubs on CPO days.
Do
- Follow posted cart rules (Cart Path Only, 90-degree rule, or free roaming)
- Stay on the path and cross at 90 degrees when free roaming is allowed
- Park the cart on the path or designated area — never near the green
- Keep cart away from tee boxes and sensitive turf areas
- Grab 2–3 clubs when walking to your ball on CPO days
Don't
- Don't drive the cart on the green, tee box, or within 30 feet of the green
- Don't drive aggressively — carts are not race cars
- Don't leave the cart in the path of others' swings
Beginner-safe script
“Hey, is it cart path only today? Thanks — I'll grab a few clubs.”
Why it matters
Cart damage to turf is a major expense for courses. Respect leads to better conditions for everyone.
