Tipping Norms at the Course
Bring a few $1–5 bills. Tip bag drop and caddie if applicable.
Do
- Bag drop attendant: $2–5 per bag is customary if they take your clubs to the cart
- Cart attendant: $2–5 if they clean or load your clubs
- Caddie: 15–25% of the caddie fee (ask the course if unsure)
- Pro shop staff: typically not tipped
- Halfway house: standard food-service tip if a person serves you
Don't
- Don't skip the bag drop tip if they provided service
- Don't tip if service wasn't provided (e.g., you carried your own bag)

Why it matters
