Driver

Tee shots on par-4 and par-5 holes where fairway is wide and distance is the goal.

Grip

Hold lightly — grip pressure ~4 out of 10. Avoid squeezing. Interlock or overlap — your choice.

Stance

Feet slightly wider than shoulder-width apart. Flare both feet slightly outward for mobility.

Ball position

Forward in stance — inside left heel (for right-handers).

Posture

Tilt spine slightly away from target (right-side tilt). Feel weight balanced on both feet, slightly favoring the right (trail) foot.

Swing thought

Sweep the ball off the tee. Low, wide takeaway. Let the club do the work — don't force it.

Contact goal

Hit slightly on the upswing — the sweet spot is the center of the clubface, slightly above the club's equator.

Common mistake

Swinging too hard and losing balance. You should be able to hold your finish without falling over.

One-minute drill

Tee a ball, make 5 half-speed swings focusing on balance at finish. Then make 3 full swings staying in balance.
