Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how GolfReady ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the GolfReady app (the "App"). We built GolfReady to be a friendly, low-pressure tool for new golfers, and we aim to collect only what we need to make it work for you.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and authentication details, plus optional profile details such as a display name, skill level, and your first-round date.
• Content you create. Rounds you log (course, date, location, score, notes), your favorites, your checklist progress, your bag setup, and any photos, videos, or scorecards you add to a course album.
• Things you ask the AI. The questions and locations you enter into the coach, course lookup, and tournament search features.
• Purchase information. If you subscribe, our payment providers process your transaction and tell us your subscription status. We don't receive or store your full card number.
• Usage and device data. Basic analytics about how the App is used, plus error and diagnostic data, to keep the App reliable and improve it.

How we use your information

• to provide the App and your account, and to sync your data across devices;
• to generate AI responses to your questions and searches;
• to process subscriptions and manage entitlements;
• to keep the App secure, fix problems, and understand how features are used; and
• to communicate with you about your account or support requests.

Photos and videos you add to a course album are stored to provide that feature to you. They are not used to train AI models or shown to other users.

How AI features handle your input

When you use an AI feature, the text you enter (and necessary context) is sent to our AI provider to generate a response. We instruct our providers not to use your inputs to train their general models. Please avoid entering sensitive personal information into AI prompts.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us run the App, under contracts that limit their use of it:

• Hosting & database — to store your account, content, and media (e.g., Supabase).
• Payments & subscriptions — to process purchases and manage entitlements (e.g., the Apple App Store, Google Play, Stripe, and RevenueCat).
• AI processing — to generate responses to your questions and searches.
• Analytics & diagnostics — to measure usage and detect errors.

We may also share information to comply with the law, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights and safety of our users, and in connection with a merger or acquisition.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. When you delete your account, we delete your associated personal data and content, except where we need to retain limited records to meet legal, accounting, or security obligations.

Your rights and choices

• Access and update your profile and content from within the App.
• Delete your account at any time from Settings, which removes your data as described above.
• Manage subscriptions through your app store or our billing portal.
• Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as access, correction, deletion, or portability). Contact us to exercise them.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including access controls so that you can only see and edit your own rounds, favorites, and albums. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

GolfReady isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

International users

We may process and store information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the App.
