Golf Glove
Equipment
Explained Simply
A single glove worn on the lead hand (left hand for right-handers) to improve grip on the club and prevent blisters.
Example
“Put the glove on your left hand before gripping the club. Most players wear one glove and remove it to putt.”
Why it matters
A glove gives you a more secure grip, especially in heat or humidity when hands sweat. Not required, but standard for most golfers.
Common beginner mistake
Wearing a wet or worn-out glove — it gives less grip than no glove at all. Replace gloves regularly.
