Phone Etiquette
Etiquette
Explained Simply
Keep your phone on silent during the round and step away from the group if you need to take a call. Never talk or scroll while a playing partner is hitting.
Example
“Your partner is about to putt. Put the phone in your pocket, stand still, and wait until after the shot to check messages.”
Why it matters
Noise and movement during another player's shot is one of the most common and most annoying etiquette violations. One buzz or ring can ruin a swing.
Common beginner mistake
Leaving your ringer on or answering calls mid-hole while others are playing.
