Bingo Bango Bongo
Game Formats
Explained Simply
A point-based game where three points are available on every hole: first ball on the green (Bingo), closest to the pin once all balls are on the green (Bango), and first ball in the hole (Bongo).
Example
“Hole 7: You reach the green first (+1 Bingo), your partner is closest to the pin (+1 Bango), and your opponent holes out first (+1 Bongo). Three separate winners.”
Why it matters
Bingo Bango Bongo is handicap-friendly and keeps everyone in the game every hole — even if you're losing, you can win points. All players must play in order to be eligible (farthest from hole goes first).
Common beginner mistake
Not playing strict honors (farthest from hole plays first) — the game requires it to keep the points fair.
