Golf Bag
Equipment
Explained Simply
The bag that holds your clubs and accessories. Common types are carry bags (light, for walking), cart bags (larger, for riding), and tour bags (big and heavy, for caddies).
Example
“A beginner carry bag has dividers for 14 club slots, pockets for balls, tees, a glove, and a rain jacket. It comes with two shoulder straps for comfort walking.”
Why it matters
Choosing the right bag type matters for how you'll play. If you always ride a cart, a heavier cart bag is fine. If you walk, choose a lightweight carry bag.
Common beginner mistake
Buying a heavy tour bag when you're planning to walk. Start with a lightweight stand bag.
